We offer coworking spaces the ability to accept credit card and direct debit payments from their coworkers.
After your members enter their credit card or bank account details once, payment will run automatically in the background without any action needed from you. Sound good? Here's what you need to do:
Sign up with a credit card or direct debit payment provider. We support Stripe and greatly recommend using it when available in your country. Stripe is very easy to set up and often also your cheapest option.
Other providers we support are Authorize.net in the U.S. and Adyen.com (almost) worldwide. In addition, you can opt for Paylane in Europe, Payone in Germany/Austria/Switzerland and Veritrans in Japan.
For direct debit payments, we work with Gocardless (UK/EU).
In order to be able to accept payments, you will have to register with the relevant providers first. After you have done that, you can add a new Payment method to Cobot...
...and select the appropriate Payment Provider.
Then you connect your account with the payment provider to Cobot.
When a new coworker signs up for your space, we ask for his or her credit card (or bank account) details. From then on, we charge the appropriate amount to their credit card/bank account each time we send out his or her invoice.
Cobot keeps track of the credit card payments and updates the payment status of the invoices accordingly. Easy as pie!
After a failed payment, the member in question is notified by email and the payment is retried up to 3 times. If the payment still fails after the third time, you receive an email notification of this.
