Cobot is a web-based coworking management application that dramatically eases the everyday administrative tasks to empower space managers, so that they can focus on what really matters – time for their coworkers.
Cobot was designed for the unique needs of coworking from the very beginning. We’ve now had over ten years of constant in-house testing.
We believe coworking communities are vibrant hubs. We aim to be the tool to support the growth of all spaces, no matter their size or location. Today we have a broad user community of hundreds of spaces of all sizes using Cobot. We are present in more than 90 countries across five continents and over 100,000 coworkers enjoy the benefits of our software.
Thilo Utke and Alexander Lang are the founders behind Cobot. They’ve worked together since 2006 and opened their own coworking space in Berlin, co.up, in 2008.
With the success of co.up, their management tasks became increasingly time-consuming. As engineers, they kept thinking about how could they improve and automate their space to avoid needing to deal with spreadsheets and paperwork. This lead to the creation of Cobot in early 2010 as our own in-house tool.
Our initial usage in co.up quickly made a difference in our efficiency and we started getting requests from others to use the software – something we didn’t expect at first.
Today, Cobot helps hundreds of coworking spaces all over the world streamline their operations and is one a top-ranked coworking management software.
We continuously strive to build the best possible system for coworking management so that space owners can focus on what really matters – time with their coworkers.
The Cobot Manifesto was developed by our team to guide both our development and business decisions. It reflects our dedication and participation in the global coworking community; the heart of our business. Most importantly, it represents why we choose to be part of this movement.
