AI Connectors and MCP Server

Work with Cobot from the AI assistant you already use

Many admins already copy lists from Cobot into ChatGPT or Claude to answer a quick question. AI Connectors replace that copying with a direct, secure connection. Connect Cobot to your assistant through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard for linking AI assistants to software, and ask for what you need, the way you’d ask a colleague. Your assistant reads your space’s live data within your admin permissions, and you decide whether it sees personal data at all. Small lookups take seconds, so you spend less time in admin screens and more time with your members.

Get answers and book rooms, just by asking

Ask about members, invoices, bookings, and check-ins, and get a clear answer instead of a filtered list. Need a room? Say “Book the Coworking Lounge for Marissa on Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm,” and your assistant books it. You log in with your regular Cobot account, so your assistant only sees the spaces you manage and only does what your admin permissions allow. Because MCP is an open standard, your assistant can also combine Cobot with the other tools you’ve connected to it, like your calendar or accounting software.

What you can do with Cobot in your AI assistant

  • Look up any member or team to see their plan, contact details, and cancellation date.
  • Check invoices by member, date, or payment status, for example to see who still has an open invoice.
  • See every booking in your Booking Calendar, including visitor bookings and who made them.
  • Find a free room for any time slot, with capacity and prices.
  • Create and change bookings for your members, or move a booking to a new time.
  • Book rooms for visitors with their billing details, just like a booking from your public resource portal.
  • Review check-ins and allocations to see how often a member comes in or which offices are taken.
  • Check members out when they forget to do it themselves.
  • Pull it all together into monthly overviews and comparisons, without exporting a single spreadsheet.

AI Connectors FAQ

Which AI assistants does Cobot work with?

Claude and ChatGPT have official connectors, so you can add Cobot in a few clicks. Other assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), like Mistral’s Vibe, Google’s Gemini, and Perplexity, connect through our open MCP server.

Who can use it?

Admins of a space. Your assistant gets the same access as your Cobot admin account, nothing more.

Can my AI assistant see my members’ personal data?

Only if you allow it. Pseudonymization is on by default: Cobot replaces PII like names, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses with placeholders before the data leaves Cobot. Your assistant can still tell records apart, without seeing the real values. You can turn pseudonymization off when you connect.

Where does my data go?

Cobot only sends data when your assistant asks for it, and only what your admin permissions allow. The provider of your assistant then processes it under your agreement with them, so their privacy terms apply. If you prefer a European provider, Mistral’s Vibe supports MCP.

Can my assistant change anything in my space?

Today, it can create and update bookings, create visitor bookings, and check members out. Assistants typically ask for your confirmation before making a change. Everything else is read-only. We add new actions based on what admins tell us they need most.

Do I have to use AI?

No. AI Connectors are optional. Nothing changes in Cobot unless you connect an assistant yourself.

How do I connect Cobot?

In Claude, add the Cobot connector from the connector directory. In ChatGPT, add the Cobot app from the app directory. Then log in with your Cobot account. For any other assistant, add our MCP server (https://api.cobot.me/mcp). Our setup guide walks you through it.

How do I disconnect?

Remove the connector in your AI assistant, or revoke its access under Authorized Applications in Cobot.
