Invoicing and payments questions

Which payment providers does Cobot support?

Cobot charges members through Stripe, GoCardless, Authorize.net, and Adyen. PayPal works as a semi-automated option, and Veritrans is available for spaces in Japan.

How does Cobot handle a failed payment?

Cobot retries a failed payment up to three times and emails the member at each attempt. If all three retries fail, it alerts an admin so you can follow up.

How do I automate coworking payments for visitors and non-members?

Visitors who buy day passes or book resources pay through Stripe at checkout. They don't need a member account, so you collect the money without manual invoicing.

When can invoices be processed each month?

You can set invoicing to run on any day from the 1st to the 28th of the month. Alternatively, charge each member on their own renewal date.

What accounting software does Cobot connect to?

Cobot connects to DATEV, sevdesk, and QuickBooks. You can also export invoices as CSV, XLSX, or PDF for any other accounting tool.

Can I add custom line items to a member's invoice?

Yes. Alongside membership fees, you can add one-time fees and free-form line items to a member's invoice for any extra charge.

Is coworking billing automation hard to set up?

No. You connect a payment provider, choose your billing cycle, and set the invoicing date. After that, Cobot charges members and sends invoices for you.
